Fall-2013-Update-Composite

To My Readers on this Thanksgiving Weekend: I could not be more grateful for each of you!  And for all of the good, all of the music, all of the shared thoughts and communication -- and all of the inspiration!  Thank you for sharing in this universal language of music and ideas!  If you did not see it before, here's my Fall Update newsletter: ==============================================

Fall 2013

Dear Friends! As we approach this season of thanks, I am reminded that “Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”(Melody Beattie)  With this in mind, I send you news of what I've been doing, the joy and fulfullment it has brought, and the excitement of seeing many of you in my concert tour around the country and beyond in the coming weeks and months!

New CD: This past summer flew by at the speed of light, and I can sum it up in 2 words:  Deep Waters – my new CD. A suite for orchestra and voice, composed by Peter Link, it contains 3 songs and 4 instrumentals -- and it's a gapless (continuous play) CD.  Click HERE to listen, download, and get the free digibook (digital liner notes).

Back In the Studio: Just two weeks ago, Houston-based Gospel/Christian singer Cynthia Clawson came to NYC. We spent 4 beautiful days together in the studio, recording and creating a video of our new duet!  I have long been a fan of Cynthia, who is the recipient of a Grammy Award and 5 Dove Awards. Thank you, Cynthia Clawson, (and sweet husband, Ragan Courtney) for bringing your spirit and artistry to this experience. What a privilege and joy to get to work with you!

Notes from The Road - Earlier This Fall:Friday, October 4, 7:00 pmDebut Concert Webinar: NYC to Denver With a great team on the ground in both cities, we broadcast my Concert Webinar live from NYC to Denver, CO, to a private conference via the internet.  The audience and I could see one another, talk together -- and we sang hymns together throughout my song set! Thanks to Emergence International for jumping straight into the future with me in this new technology!

Friday, September 7, 7:00 pmConcert for the CSNN International Conference Lebanon, MO Singing for a grand group of folks dedicated to wellness and healing, I performed in an incredibly beautiful venue – an outdoor amphitheatre just as the sun was beginning to set. I finished with the cicadas humming in the dark and fireflies glowing all around. At Cedars Camps in Southern Missouri, it was a spectacularly inspiring environment.

Excited to See You! My team is busy booking and co-producing a whole host of concerts slated for 2014 and beyond.  We have received tremendous response and support, and we are excited to be working with so many of you!  If you are interested in bringing my concert or webinar events (with optional workshops) to your area/community/venue, please email us at concertbookings@watchfiremusic.com.
