Sunday Morning
"When I had finished my songbook, “Solos For Sunday Morning” I asked Julia if there might be a song or two from the 13 songs that she would like to sing on her new sacred CD she was working on. She listened for a few days to my demos and got back to me saying, “I’d like to do 11 of them.” Every composer’s dream!
So I went to work orchestrating the songs for her. Together we had four months of recording heaven, digging into the wondrous truths from the Bible contained therein. We added 2 more from other composers to round it out to 13 songs – 13 songs for her 13th CD. We then thought it only appropriate to title the CD, “Sunday Morning.” I feel that it is some of her best work." ~Peter Link

It is the musical tale of Custard, the cowardly dragon, and his friends Ink, Blink and Mustard who embark on a musical journey about a most unlikely hero who finds the courage to rescue his beloved Belinda from a menacing pirate. Alabado sea Dios came about when Julia Wade and Peter Link were commissioned to record a Spanish inspirational CD as a result of Julia's continuing position as the Soloist for the Spanish services at The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston. There she performs an incredible array of latino sacred music with Latin jazz pianist Rafael Alcalá, as represented on this CD.

Wonderful
This Christmas song was written especially for Julia Wade by Peter Link. It was, in fact, her idea to put these two texts together as one lyric . texts from the book of John in the Bible and from the writings of Mary Baker Eddy. The occasion is the Christmas day church services in Boston where Julia is soloist and performs it with harpist and keyboardist.
In a rather unprecedented move, Julia also decided to share the song with the world before its debut both as a recording and also make it available in digital sheet music for other soloists to sing as well if they so chose. It is an uplifting and joyous celebration of the birth of Jesus and captures the spirit of Christmas both in its music and lyrics.
And his name shall be called. Wonderful!
